Student Profile

Senior year has been the craziest out of all the four years I've been a student at Frank McCourt High School. We have had so much going on like the whole college process, preparing the events for our senior class, making sure we pass all of our classes(no matter how much senioritis had kicked in), and just preparing ourselves for what's to come next. Some highlights from my FMHS experience is Camp Bernie, our "senior trip" to Dave and Busters, intersession, and those are to only name a few. There have been so many memories and stories that each student definitely will take with them leaving Frank McCourt HIgh School. My plans for the Fall is to attend Stella and Charles Guttman Community College. although it wasn't my first choice I think I will really get what I need from there before I decide to venture off and possibly go away for the last two years of college. Who really knows what's going to happen in two years, all I can say is that my plan for next year is to really give college everything I have to really find out what it is I want to do during my college career.

I can definitely say that FMHS has helped me become the person I am today because I have spent four years of my life in this school. FOUR YEARS!! I still can't believe that it's almost over. Honestly, I have been waiting for graduation for months and now that it's almost a week away is completely ridiculous. I can't believe that my four years of learning everything Frank McCourt High School has to offer is done. I have learned so much and I have improved in so much as well. For example, I never really did like working in groups because that meant depending on other people to do what was required of them to do and I would rather work alone and know that I did everything instead of worrying that someone forgot to do their part or didn't complete it. I have gotten better at communicating as well because I didn't usually ask for help when I needed it and I have learned that teachers and peers are there for a reason, they are there to teach and help you learn everything it is your are absorbing from them.
